Checkmate is a self-hosted monitoring tool that watches your websites, APIs and servers and tells you when something breaks. It has ten monitor types: HTTP, ping, TCP, gRPC, WebSocket, DNS, PageSpeed, Docker, game servers, and server hardware through its Capture agent.
Track uptime, response times and SSL certificate expiry, follow Lighthouse scores and Core Web Vitals over time, and watch CPU, memory, disk and temperature on every server. Failed checks open incidents automatically, maintenance windows hold alerts while you work, and notifications go out on 12 channels, including email, Slack, Discord, Telegram and PagerDuty. Public status pages keep your users informed.
Checkmate is free and open source under AGPL-3.0, with no monitor limits and no paywalled features. Run it with Docker Compose, Helm or on bare metal, and your data stays in your own database.
