Photon Studio is a free photo editor and design tool for macOS, Windows and Linux. It follows Photoshop’s toolbox, menus and default keyboard shortcuts, so your hands already know where everything is.
Open PSD and PSB files with groups, masks, adjustment layers, smart objects, editable text and layer effects intact, then save back to PSD. Bring your brushes, actions, layer styles, gradients, patterns and swatches. Many ExtendScript and UXP scripts run as they are.
Select Subject, Remove Background and Select Sky use AI models bundled with the app and run on your own machine. Nothing is uploaded, and you don’t need an account to open a file and get to work.
