THE TAKE
Burly is a tiny macOS menu bar app that becomes your default browser. Click a link in Mail, Slack, Messages or any other app and a picker blooms right where you clicked, listing every browser profile on your Mac. Pick one with a click or its number key, and the link opens in exactly that profile.
Burly finds the profiles in Chrome, Brave, Edge, Firefox, Safari and more on its own, including Safari profiles that most link routers can’t reach. Reorder or hide them, give each an emoji or photo, a color and a shortcut key, and hold a modifier to skip the picker and reopen your last-used profile. Global hotkeys open any profile directly.
All routing happens on your Mac, with no account, no backend and no browsing data leaving the device. Burly is free with every feature. Pay $1.99 once to become a Supporter and hide the occasional promotion in the picker.
